Storyboards: part one.

In order for me to gain a rough idea of what my film will look like, I decided to start creating some rough storyboards detailing what shots will be included.

This is the first page of my storyboards, showing the first scene in my film. The scene is of the main character getting dressed in the morning and when she looks into the mirror, her reflection is no longer there. She then leaves the room and as she goes to walk through the door, a family member walks straight past her preventing her from leaving and ignores her.

This is the second page of my storyboards. This follows on from the first page and continues on with her day, where she leaves to go to school.

Target A

To achieve my target my research, planning and evaluation must be detailed, effectively communicated and presented digitally, using a wide variety of formats. I need detailed research into similar products and target audience and to show the process of planning by including excellent work on shotlists, drafts, storyboards, scripts, locations and props. I need to show full evidence of the research and
planning informing the construction process. My
evaluation must reflect my excellent understanding of forms and conventions, an understanding of the use of new media throughout the stages of production, the way my ancillary and primary tasks combine effectively. There will be an
excellent understanding of the significance of audience feedback. My production work, across the formats, will demonstrates excellent creativity and imagination as I seek to make them as convincing as possible and it will also
reflect my mastery in technical skills such as controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes, close attention to mise-en-scène, appropriate transitions and use of sound.
